When we talk about distance, we often use the phrase “as the crow flies”. This idiom is used to describe the shortest possible distance between two points. It’s a way of measuring distance that doesn’t take into account any obstacles or detours that might be encountered along the way. When crows gather in large numbers, it’s often seen as a powerful spiritual sign. This phenomenon symbolizes a coming change and a connection to the ancestral realm.  Odens crows reaching for a compass of freedom. Huginn and Muninn are a pair of ravens who, according to Norse mythology, are enlisted in Odin’s service. The birds depart every morning at dawn to fly around the Norse world, Midgard. At dinner, they return to their perches on Odin’s shoulders and tell him what they have seen.
